INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Villacryl S is a self-hardening acrylic dental material for the repair of removable dentures.

  

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not use in patients who are allergic to the ingredients included in the composition of the material.
• Before installation, the prosthesis should be disinfected.
• Warn the patient that if proper hygiene is not observed, irritation and inflammation of the oral cavity may occur.

 

APPLICATION

• Preparation

• Before creating the model, it is desirable to glue the prosthesis with a quick-setting adhesive.
• Using plaster or silicone, make a model of the prosthesis. It is optimal to use Zetalabor C-silicone.

• After kneading, the base of the model should be formed.
• After the silicone has hardened, the model should be removed and re-broken, the broken points treated and placed back into the mold.

PREPARING PLASTIC

• Place the required amount of powder into a glass container. Add monomer. Powder to liquid ratio: 10 grams of powder per 5.3 milliliters of liquid.
• Mix thoroughly with a metal spatula.
• Close the container and leave for 1-2 minutes at room temperature.

 

DENTURE REPAIR

• Apply monomer to the fracture site.
• Using a metal spatula, add the prepared plastic. Operating time - no more than 8 minutes.
• Attach the prosthesis to the model using a rubber band.
• The material polymerizes well at room temperature. For best results, it is recommended to polymerize in water at a temperature of 50-60°C under a pressure of 2 bar. The polymerization time is 15 minutes.

 

TREATMENT

• The finished denture should be ground with a burr and polished with polishing powder and polishing paste.
